And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
