The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
