۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
