Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
