SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
