Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
