Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
