Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
