The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
