Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 and gave them signs wherein there was a manifest trial. 33 Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying, 34 “This is our first and only death, and we shall never be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Truly, the Day of Decision is the appointed time for all of them, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 except those on whom Allah will have mercy. He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 42
