The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
