The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
