And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, "For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do." 41 And there are those of them who hear you, but can you make the deaf to hear though they will not understand? 42 Some of them look to you. But can you guide the blind, even though they do not see? 43 Surely Allah does not wrong men; they rather wrong themselves. 44 And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided 45 And whether We show you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) part of what We promise them or whether We call you towards Us before it – in any case they have to return to Us – then Allah is the Witness of their deeds. 46 Every nation has its Messenger. Then, when their Messenger comes the matter is justly decided between them; they are not wronged. 47 They say: "When is this promise going to come, if what you say is true?" 48 Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it). 49 Say, “What is your opinion – if His punishment comes upon you at night or during the day, so what is there in it for which the guilty are being hasty?” 50 Will you believe it when it comes to pass? Indeed, you will believe it then. How impatient you were to hasten it! 51 Then the evil-doers will be told, "Taste the everlasting punishment. Have you not been rewarded according to your deeds?" 52 And some people ask thee, "Is all this true?" Say: "Yea, by my Sustainer! It is most certainly true, and you cannot elude [the final reckoning]!" 53
