Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather they are not certain. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they become weighed down in debt? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or do they desire a war? But those who disbelieve shall be the vanquished ones in war. 42 Have they, then, any deity other than God? Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),- 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 And verily for those who do wrong there is a torment before that; but most of them know not. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
