The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 It is the star shining brightly. 3 There is no soul which is not guarded (by the two angels who record all of its deeds). 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Verily He is Able to restore him, 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 not a flippant jest. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
