The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
