The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
