۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a book that is protected 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
