The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
