And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it to the extent that they see the painful punishment. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Just think: If We let them enjoy (the good things of life) for a few years more, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
