Say (O Prophet): “Allah suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. As for those who believe in falsehood and are engaged in infidelity with Allah, it is they who will be the losers.” 52 They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment (for them): had it not been for a term (of respite) appointed, the Punishment would certainly have come to them: and it will certainly reach them,- of a sudden, while they perceive not! 53 They ask you to hasten on the chastisement, and most surely hell encompasses the unbelievers; 54 (They will become aware of it) the Day when the chastisement will overwhelm them from above and from under their feet, and He will say to them: “Taste now the consequence of the deeds that you used to commit.” 55 O My servants who believe! surely My earth is vast, therefore Me alone should you serve. 56 Every soul will experience the agony of death and to Me you will all return. 57 And those who believe, and do righteous deeds, We shall surely lodge them in lofty chambers of paradise, underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and excellent is the wage of those who labour, 58 Who persevere and place their trust in their Lord. 59 How many a beast does not bear its own provision. Allah provides for it, as (He provides) for you. He is the Hearer, the Knower. 60 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon? They would surely say: Allah. How then are they deviating? 61 Allah enlarges the sustenance of any of His servants whom He will, and straitens the sustenance of whom He will. Surely Allah has knowledge of everything. 62 If you ask them: "Who sends down rain from the sky and quickens the earth when it is dead?" They will answer: "God." Say: "All praise be to God." But most of them do not understand. 63
