To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
