The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
