We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
