The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
