And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
