We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
