Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
