The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 You will become three categories: 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and spreading shade 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 and raised couches 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
