And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed. 31 but, on the contrary, he gave the lie to the truth and turned away [from it,] 32 Then he went back to his home in pride. 33 Woe to you, and woe! 34 Then woe to you, and woe! 35 Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim? 36 Was he not once just a drop of discharged sperm. 37 Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. 38 And made of him the two sexes, male and female. 39 Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead? 40
