The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
