The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 And the day resplendent 2 Consider the creation of the male and the female! 3 Your striving is most surely (directed to) various (ends). 4 Yet he who gives to others and has fear, 5 And testifieth to the Good, 6 We shall surely ease him to the Path of Easing; 7 But for those who are niggardly, horde their wealth, 8 And gives the lie to Al-Husna (see Verse No: 6 footnote); 9 We will make smooth for him the path for evil; 10 When he falls (into Hell), his wealth will not help him. 11 Surely upon Us rests the guidance, 12 And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning. 13 So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. 14 None except the most wicked will enter it. 15 Who belieth and turneth away. 16 But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,- 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. 20 And he shall soon be well-pleased. 21
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
