The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
