In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif-Lam-Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Wise Book 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 who establish Prayer and pay Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 4 Such have guidance from their Lord. Such are the successful. 5 And of men is he who takes instead frivolous discourse to lead astray from Allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement. 6 And when Our revelations are recited unto him he turneth away in his stiff-neckedness as though he heard them not: as though there was a deafness in his ears. So announce thou unto him a torment afflictive. 7 Surely those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, there awaits them Gardens of Bliss 8 In which they will abide; it is a true promise of Allah; and only He is the Almighty, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. 10 This is the Creation of Allah. Now show me that which those (ye worship) beside Him have created. Nay, but the wrong-doers are in error manifest! 11
