▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
