Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 separating one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
