And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
