Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]. 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips 4 But man desires to persist in his evil ways. 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 And the moon is eclipsed 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together 9 on that Day will man say: “Whither the refuge?” 10 No, there is no refuge. 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind. 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 even though he offer his excuses. 15 O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), do not cause your tongue to move along with the Qur’an in order to learn it faster. 16 It's gathering and reciting is upon Us. 17 So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation. 18 We shall be responsible for its explanation. 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 and will be looking towards their Lord; 23 And how many faces on that Day will be woe-begone 24 Fearing that a great disaster is going to befall them. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 and he thinks that it is the parting 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord! 30
