In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
