Al-Shooraa 4 of 5
And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much. (See the Quran Verse 35:45). 30 And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth. And you have not besides Allah any protector or helper. 31 And of His Signs are the ships that sail in the sea like mountains. 32 and if He wills, He stills the wind, and they remain motionless on its back. Surely in that are signs for every man enduring, thankful. 33 Or He may destroy them (by drowning) because of that which their (people) have earned. And He pardons much. 34 And for those who dispute regarding Our signs to realise; that they do not have a place to escape to. 35 AND [remember that] whatever you are given [now] is but for the [passing] enjoyment of life in this world - whereas that which is with God is far better and more enduring. [It shall be given] to all who attain to faith and in their Sustainer place their trust; 36 And (for) those who avoid cardinal sins and indecencies, and forgive (even) when they are angry. 37 who have pledged their obedience to the Lord, who are steadfast in prayer, who conduct their affairs with consultation among themselves, who spend for the cause of God out of what We have given them, 38 who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress. 39 The retribution of a harmful deed is the harm equal to it; so whoever forgives and makes amends, so his reward is upon Allah; indeed He does not befriend the unjust. 40 Those who successfully defend themselves after being wronged will not be questioned. 41 blame falls only on those who wrong men and transgress on this earth without justification, such will have a painful punishment, 42 whoever is patient and forgiving, acts with great courage and resolution. 43

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
