Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
