And the trumpet shall be blown, and lo! from the tombs unto their Lord they shall be hastening. 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 On that Day no soul shall suffer the least injustice. You shall be rewarded only according to your deeds. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 They and their spouses will recline on couches in the shade therein. 56 For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish] 57 'Peace!' -- such is the greeting, from a Lord All-compassionate. 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ Made I not covenant with you, Children of Adam, that you should not serve Satan -- surely he is a manifest foe to you -- 60 but to worship Me? Surely, that is a straight path. 61 Yet he led astray a great multitude of you. Why did you not then understand? 62 This is Hell which you were promised! 63 “Enter it this day the recompense of your disbelief.” 64 That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn. 65 And if it had been Our Will, We would surely have wiped out (blinded) their eyes, so that they would struggle for the Path, how then would they see? 66 Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return. 67

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
