Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
