And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
