Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
