Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
