Hizb 46

AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 So surely you and what you worship, 161 can lure away from God any 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
