And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 And the jinn We created before, of intensely hot fire. 27 And recall when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 28 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, bow before him in homage;" 29 All the angels prostrated before Adam 30 except Iblis who refused to join with the others in prostration. 31 Allah said: O Iblis! what aileth thou that thou art not with the prostrates? 32 He replied: 'I will not prostrate to a mortal You have created of clay, from molded mud' 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 “And indeed you are accursed till the Day of Judgement.” 35 Satan said, "O my Lord! Grant me respite till the Day of Resurrection." 36 "You are among the reprieved," (said the Lord), 37 Till the Day of appointed time. 38 He said: My Lord! because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will certainly cause them all to deviate 39 “Except those among them who are Your chosen bondmen.” 40 (To which God) said: "This way is right by Me. 41 Verily as for My bondmen, no authority shalt thou have over them, except the erring one who follow thee. 42 and for all such, behold, hell is the promised goal. 43 It has seven gates and each gate is assigned for a certain group of people. 44
