The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 There is a ban upon any city that We have destroyed; they shall not return 95 Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend 96 when the true promise of God draws near, those who denied the truth will stare in amazement, crying, "Woe to us! We have been so heedless of this. Indeed, we were wrongdoers." 97 They will be told, "You and what you had worshipped instead of God will be the fuel of hell". 98 Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 they shall be, kept far from it neither shall they hear any whisper of it, and they shall dwell forever in that their souls desired; 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it. 104 And indeed We wrote, after the reminder in the Zaboor that, “My virtuous bondmen will inherit the earth.” 105 Herein, surely is a message for true worshippers. 106 And We have not sent thee except as a mercy unto the Worlds. 107 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "It is revealed to me that your Ilah (God) is only one Ilah (God - Allah). Will you then submit to His Will (become Muslims and stop worshipping others besides Allah)?" 108 If they turn away, say, "I have warned you all alike, though I do not know whether [the scourge] which you are promised is near at hand or far off. 109 "It is He Who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts). 110 I know not; haply it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time. 111 He saith: My Lord! Judge Thou with truth. Our Lord is the Beneficent, Whose help is to be implored against that which ye ascribe (unto Him). 112
