The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
